if you google images “polynesian tattoo” you’ll get a whole bunch of image.
I gave you the link to the first site because it gives information on different symbols in polynesian tattoos. keep in mind that it’s different from group to group (somoan, tongan, and then going into the maori tattoos). Getting a polynesian tribal, as with any true tribal tattoo tells the story of the individual who wears. each person’s tattoo is as unique as them. I would suggest finding someone who specializes in these kind of tattoos, a they will be able to help you design your tattoo. There are few in Hawaii, and one Filipino artist in LA (he specializes in Filipino tribal, but also understands polynesian tribal).

I love the look of Polynesian tattoos and want to get some work…..but the symbols all represent something and I only know a couple of their meanings.Please…I need help finding out. My appointment is soon. Otherwise I gotta get something different. Which isn’t a problem (I have alot of ideas). But I really need to find out what they mean. There is a site with a dictionary of Polynesian design meanings but it costs some bucks. I don’t wanna pay for it yet if I don’t have to. Thank You..

more specifically a place that specializes in polynesian tribal tattoos. any ideas? i tried the yellow pages but it is hard to decide without going in and checking the place out yourself.
